TriggerWheel Technology

Simple, Proven, Pain Relief . . .

Anywhere, Anytime

The TriggerWheel Ò is a uniquely simple and effective device.  It was designed by physicians to perform proprietary Intracell Technology.  It gives relief from pain, stiffness and soreness, caused by carpal tunnel syndrome and other muscle related disorders.

What Is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome [CTS]?

CTS means there is a painful pressure against a nerve that passes through a tunnel, formed by wrist bones.  Passing through the tunnel with the nerve are 9 tendons that connect arm muscles to the fingers and thumb.  The muscles are located primarily in the forearm.  If inflammation and swelling occurs, it causes pressure on the nerve which results in pain, tingling, numbness and loss of strength.  Severely advanced cases require surgery.  More wrist surgeries occur now, than at anytime in our history.

  Signs & Signals

Early signs of carpal tunnel syndrome are stiffness, soreness, weakness and pain.  These repetitive motion symptoms, which may include numbness and tingling, arise from localized knots in muscle, known medically as trigger points.  A trigger point is a tight, tender muscle deprived of proper circulation.  Myofascial massage therapy is a scientifically proven method to relax tired, achy muscles and improve circulation.

amazing degree of accuracy.”

Why the TriggerWheel Works!

The TriggerWheel Ò allows you to self-perform myofascial massage therapy.  This simple-to-apply routine elongates muscle fibers, relaxes trigger points, improves circulation and hastens recovery.  The amazing rolling action of the TriggerWheel Ò releases the muscle tightness that develops from repetitive motion activities.  From the computer terminal – to an assembly line – to the athletic field, the TriggerWheel Ò is fast treatment, whenever and wherever you need it.

Medical Research

Dr Benjamin M Sucher, medical director at the Center for Carpal Tunnel Studies comments, “For mild to moderate cases of carpal tunnel syndrome, myofascial release has been scientifically proven to ease the symptoms of the syndrome.”

According to Stuart Donaldson, PhD, “It is speculated that the inappropriate muscle activity in the forearm is causally related to carpal tunnel syndrome”.

Barbara Headley, MS PT in Advance for Physical Therapy states, “Therapists are now recognizing that pain associated with CTS in many patients starts with muscle dysfunction.”

Scientific Proof

World-renowned scientists, Sarkizov and Serazini reported that, “Myofascial massage decreases the amount of lactic acid in muscle and helps to normalize the function of tired muscle.”  It was noted that, “Tired muscles were revived faster with myofascial massage than with rest.”

A study at the University of Michigan, sponsored by the National Institute of Safety and Health, suggested that, “It is the repetitiveness of tasks, without adequate recovery time, that causes the inflammation associated with CTS.”

Prevention/Treatment

Strength, speed, flexibility and endurance are qualities of healthy muscles that aid in the prevention of carpal tunnel syndrome.  A muscle’s ability to prolong these qualities is directly dependent on an adequate warm-up and a nutrient rich and oxygen laden blood supply.

The purpose of the TriggerWheel Ò is to relax tight, tender muscles and encourage good circulation.

In a recent statement, one of the developers of the product, Dr Pat E Belcher, said, ”The TriggerWheel works like a tireless thumb that performs conventional trigger point therapy, ischemic compression and myofascial release procedures with unbelievable ease and accuracy.”
